Was Bidvest Wits showboating against Mamelodi Sundowns disrespectful or constructive?

With Wits having notched up a three-goal cushion, Gavin Hunt's men begun to turn on the flair and trickery in the final five minutes of the game, as they tried to run down the clock in their frantic-paced game at the Mbombela Stadium last Saturday.

After the game, Mosimane voiced his opinion on the way in which The Clever Boys "turned the show", which lead to 'Downs' players lashing out in frustration.

Meanwhile, Wits midfielder Xola Mlambo defended his team's antics in explaining that the fans deserved "a little bit of something" and rejects claims that it was disrepectful towards their opponents.

Many players around the world – including Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Ronaldinho, etc. – have often put their flair and trickery to good effect for the benefit and progress of their teams.

Back on home soil, we've seen Thabo Rakhale, Sifiso Myeni, Mark Mayambela, Pule Ekstein, the late Emmanuel 'Scara' Ngobese and many others before them also produces innovative skills during PSL games.
