Papic, who has been in the dugout of both outfits before and knows all about the potential twists and turns of a Soweto Derby, has made a prediction for today's scoreline.
"Pirates winning their match on Wednesday [against Celtic], and the result in the first leg definitely favours Pirates," Papic tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"From my opinion Chiefs cannot score four goals. If Pirates score a goal the game is over. Now it looks like it's over for Chiefs, they need to concentrate on league matches hey.
"But never say anything before the last whistle, you never know what is going to happen. That's the reason football is so popular, you never know what's going to happen.
"Don't give up. Everybody knows you are out, which means Chiefs have got nothing to lose. [I predict] 2-1 to Chiefs."
