Zinnbauer has led Pirates to the MTN8 final after banishing arch rivals Chiefs with a 5-0 aggregate scoreline in the two-legged semi-final round.
This is a big opportunity for both the German, who faces his first cup final on South African soil, and the club to end their six-year trophy drought.
Despite his personal challenges back home, where his son is fighting for his life in a coma, 'JZ' has dedicated the performances and final qualification to the Buccaneers faithful, and hopes they will be allowed in the stadium when they face Bloemfontein Celtic on December 12.
"I'm happy we are in the final now, this win and the final was for the supporters. It's a difficult time for the club and supporters, we cannot go with each other to a game," said Zinnbauer after sweeping aside Amakhosi.
"We cannot support each other, but now it's a final and I hope and pray we get together and that maybe it's possible for the supporters to come in the stadium and we have the final together.
"We have a break now, we need this break, we can recover and make a little focus on the next games, but there's also a lot of national team players and they go,"
"I wish them good results with their national teams, but we cannot work with all the players and we have to accept that, but the focus now in these two weeks is what we can work on better structures and we'll find things we have to improve."
