Celtic and Pirates are set to wrap up the first cup competition of the 2020/21 season when they battle it out in the much-anticipated MTN8 final at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday.
The Soweto giants are arguably favourites, given how they have strung together a nine-match unbeaten run in both the league and cup so far this season.
Maduka has further conceded that Phunya Sele Sele come into the tie as the underdogs as he stressed that most people expect the Buccaneers to come out tops this weekend.
"We are going as the underdogs, most of the people expect Pirates to beat us, so that gives us that advantage because the pressure is not on us," Maduka told the media.
"The pressure is on Pirates, because majority of people thinks Pirates will beat us, and we have worked hard, we have planned and prepared well, and we're looking forward.
"We respect Pirates, we know they are a good team but at the same time we are prepared to compete against them and we are looking forward to the final."
Kick-off of the encounter is scheduled for 18h00, with no fans allowed in the vicinity of the match venue due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
