Goals in the last ten minutes from substitutes Marcelo Allende and Abubeker Nasir gave the Brazilians a 2-0 win over United, who wasted a number of chances in both halves.
"No, it wasn't a true reflection. I mean you know, I'm proud of the players. We had the best chances in the game, the ball was going across the six-yard box how many times the whole game?" Hunt told SuperSport TV.
"You know, if you score… we can…you know and then obviously the ball goes through everybody...it takes a deflection, they get lucky. But as I say, look at our team we bringing on young kids – brilliant MDC (DStv Diski Challenge) player brilliant.
"They are bringing on multi-million dollar players you know. So, these kids they are great – I mean they were brilliant. I can't be more prouder of the players."
The coach elaborated on their inaccuracy up top with a certain Bradley Grobler the main culprit in this regard, but the quality from the two teams was the difference at the end.
"Yeah, Bradley should've scored and they go at the other end and score. So that's the difference in football. But the quality will always tell. Tactically, I thought we were very good and then.
"But I thought the quality they going to wear you down somewhere along the line. All in all, I got to be proud of the players and we had so many opportunities.
"First half as well you know, broke out clear…the space was there but all in all. They had more quality."
