Chiefs trail Pirates 3-0 on aggregate from the first leg played at Orlando Stadium last Saturday, and have a mountain to climb if they are to overturn the scoreline and advance to the final.
Without the services of top striker Samir Nurkovic due to injury, Amakhosi have been struggling in front of goal this season, with just three goals scored in their opening four matches – one of those being an own goal by Chippa United's Gregory Damons.
Nonetheless, Hunt is not too phased by this as long as they continue creating scoring opportunities, and believes it's only a matter of time before the flood gates open.
"If you look at even Pirates, how they were struggling to score and all of a sudden they got three [goals] against us, so these things can turn very, very quickly," said Hunt.
"The most important thing is, as long as we're creating opportunities, but we certainly need to be taking them, there's no two ways about it.
"In the last couple of games that I've seen, there were some great opportunities and we've got to be doing better in front of goal, wherever the ball lands.
"But obviously, any team, anywhere in the world, is going to miss the man that scored the most goals for them last season. So, we can't [dwell on it], we have to get on with it.
"But we certainly need to spread the load a little and try and get a few more goals from other areas."
