Arthur Zwane lauds Itumeleng Khune following long-awaited Kaizer Chiefs return

Featuring in Kaizer Chiefs' starting XI for the first time in more than a year, club captain Itumeleng Khune enjoyed a happy return after playing a starring role in Sunday's MTN 8 quarter-final win over Stellenbosch FC.

The veteran goalkeeper, whose last appearance came at the same stage of the competition last season, was the hero on the day for the Amakhosi after saving two spot-kicks during a penalty shootout finish against the Cape Winelands-based outfit.

Khune denied Deano van Rooyen and William Likuta from the spot to earn his side a ticket to the next round of the competition, and his performance across the entirety of the encounter was lauded by head coach Arthur Zwane.
