The Premier Soccer League on Wednesday morning announced the nominees for the MTN8 Last Man Standing, which includes two stars from Orlando Pirates.
Pirates ended their six-year wait for silverware this season when they were crowned MTN8 champions after beating Bloemfontein Celtic in the final.
The Buccaneers went past Cape Town City and Kaizer Chiefs en route the final, before coming from behind to beat Phunya Sele Sele 2-1.
The triumph was largely thanks to Namibian winger Deon Hotto, who was instrumental in their two-legged Soweto Derby semi-final, before he sparking his side's comeback in the final with the equalizer in the first-half.
Also nominated is Celtic striker Victor Letsoalo, who netted the all-important winner against Mamelodi Sundowns in the opening round, before he also helped the Free State-based outfit by scoring the winning goal against SuperSport United in the semi-final second leg.
Rounding up the nominees is industrious midfielder Ben Motshwari, who picked up the Man of the Match award in the final in December.
The winner will walk away R80 000 richer.
