Tlou Segolela opens up on big PSL achievement

City Rovers secured promotion to the second-tier next season after beating Glendene United 3-0 on penalties in the ABC Motsepe National Play-offs semi-final game in Nelspruit on Thursday.

The former Orlando Pirates midfielder has since thanked the technical team, players and management for their hard work after gaining promotion.

"Credit goes to the management, technical team and players for the sterling job. It was not easy but the we had a great vision. Football is now back in North West".

"Our focus now is on the finals on Saturday. As soon as we done with the finals, we start preparing for the journey ahead."

Rovers is expected to use the Royal Bafokeng Stadium as their home venue in their debut GladAfrica Championship campaign.
