Malesela confirmed by Baroka

Motsepe Foundation Championship club Baroka FC have announced Dan Malesela as the club's new head coach to replace the outgoing Stan Nkoane.

Under Nkoane, Baroka has failed to register a win in their opening five matches so far this season.

"The chairman at Baroka, Khurishi Mphahlele had been talking to Dan since last week in their league match in Mpumalanga against Casric Stars, which Dan was present," a source tells KickOff.

"It was known that the experienced Malesela is the chairman's first option."

Malesela faces a daunting project in guiding the club clear of the relegation zone, with Baroka having so far, collected just three points from their first five league matches.
