Ex-Chiefs man on the move yet again

Edmore 'Spanner' Chirambadare has joined Pretoria Callies on a one-year contract with an option of a further year.

The Zimbabwean spent two years at Chiefs before moving on to Maccabi at the start of the 2018/19 season spending a season there before switching to Real Kings where he also lasted a year.

Towards the end of last year, he found his way to Steenberg United emerging as one of the top performers despite the club being relegated.

The two years spent at Chiefs, during which he played 27 games and scored once, remain the highlight of his career to date.

Callies coach Joel Masutha has now brought Chirambadare in with the hope that he helps improve the team's fortunes in their second season in the first division.

Callies have started the season minus a host of players that completed the past season, amongst them another ex-Chiefs winger William Twala.

Meanwhile, Callies will play four friendly games during their tour of Limpopo.

They played Marumo Gallants on Tuesday then faced Baroka on Wednesday and will on Thursday come up against new first division franchise Venda Football Academy before wrapping up against Black Leopards on Friday.
