A defiant Fadlu Davids praised his Maritzburg United side's determination after clinching a 1-1 draw against DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns in their relegation fight at Loftus Versveld Stadium on Tuesday.
Surprise Ralani opened the scoring for the Brazilians before substitute Ali Meza grabbed a crucial equaliser in the 71st minute.

The draw means The Team of Choice move out of the relegation zone with 30 points by a solitary point.
Davids' side now faces a tense wait in the hopes that Marumo Gallants and Chippa United (both on 29 points) fail to grab a point on the final day of the 2022/23 season.
"Step by step with young players, with young defenders, young goalkeepers, you have to grow the mindset you can't just change the mindset," Davids said post-match.
"It's a step-by-step process and throughout the season the hard lessons we took, like conceding in the last second [of games].
"Critical phases, and you can't say it's one player, it's been throughout the team.
"These lessons and growth mindset to be able to learn, analyse, and learn from other players.
"After the Marumo Gallants [match], we're out of the relegation zone and in the last second [we concede] a free-kick and we concede a goal like that and we're thinking we've been relegated.
But we stood strong, we analysed again, we said let's fight, let's push let's learn once again from it and hopefully, all these lessons have its silver lining."
