The town of Musina is mostly known as the northernmost town in Limpopo which provides a busy channel to the rest of the continent via Zimbabwe.
It is also the town where Mamelodi Sundowns wingback Khuliso 'Sailor' Mudau hails from having grown up in Nancefield, Musina under the firm guidance of his father who works for government and his mother who is employed in the local mines.

As he moves into his fourth season at Sundowns which has included out marking Ivorian striker Wilfred Zaha while on Bafana Bafana duty, Mudau has been given full marks for his mentality.
For Mudau it never mattered that when Zaha was at Manchester United, he was at Benny's Care Academy in Louis Trichardt.
"What I'm seeing now in him is what I always expected of him," says Joel Masutha, who coached Mudau at Black Leopards six years ago.
"I knew him from his time at Benny's Care Academy because I knew all the boys that were and when I came back to Leopards at that time, I found him there.
"Credit must also go to the parents because I also know them and understand how difficult it was for kids to go to Benny's Care Academy at the time.
"They are people who live a good life and always lead by example which I think has helped in working on the boy's mentality and attitude.
"He was never the boy who because his parents are employed would then relax because he was guaranteed of his next meal back home.
"He wanted to make his own mark and they supported him to be where he is but that never got into his head.
"Instead of relaxing, he put in the most effort and has never been someone who looks down on other people which tends to be the downfall of others.
"The respect that he has for everyone whether you know him or not is amazing.
"For me, the sky is the limit now," says Masutha.

"I'm proud that the boy is where he is now, and I do talk to him from time to time especially encouraging and praising him for the performances.
"I never doubted that he will succeed because he is a humble boy, hard worker, and someone who doesn't sulk or complain.
"The plus about him is that he is not a one position player as I used to play him on the wing, in central midfield, and as a right-back so he is multi-functional which is what most people might not know.
"He was able to score goals playing from the left because that is where we also played him if not partnering him with Monyai (Marks).

"That boy is very strong and there were some people who used to comment about he runs but that boy has incredible energy.
"One-on-one he is difficult to beat and has the best timing so for me is a complete player.
"If ever there becomes need to play in other positions he will do so without hesitation," says Masutha.
