The story
The electric winger has been a complete revelation this season in the Swedish top-flight with eight goals and six assists in 23 games so far. His stock has understandably risen, with his market value now peaking at €900 000 (R17.9 million) in just more one year at the club.
His performances for his club IK Sirius have been invaluable, as he has contributed to 40% of his team's goals so far, as he looks to lift them out of Allsvenskan relegation battle. The club has now made a compilation of all of his goals and assists, with the player's remarkable form getting the recognition it humbly deserves.

Mathews is his club's joint most valuable player, according to Transfermarkt, and it is only matched by his captain Daniel Stensson who is three years his senior.
The attacker has been abroad since 2018 when he joined Borussia Dortmund's youth side but he was sold to Varbergs BoIS in 2020 for an undisclosed fee. He remains uncapped by Bafana Bafana but he now seems to be knocking on Hugo Broos' door ahead of the upcoming Afcon in January 2024.
