Orlando Pirates new signing Gilberto appears to have a larger than life personality off the pitch after recently fulfilling his celebrity duties before jetting off to the pre-season camp in Spain.

According to TV anchor Thomas Mlambo, Gilberto had to sort out his paperwork required for a flight to Spain hence the late arrival to camp.
It is unclear if the new signing spent that free time recording a music video.
Although a new name to South African football, Gilberto is quite a popular figure in his native country with more than 200 000 followers on Instagram.
For context, this makes him more popular than his new teammates Relebohile Mofokeng, Patrick Maswanyi, and Zakhele Lepasa on Instagram.

It is therefore unsurprising that Gilberto is often in the lime light, linking with some of Angola's big brands and musicians.
Famous for his eccentric dance moves and charismatic personality, the 23-year recently appeared in a music video of a song called Babete by musician Landrick Unico, who has close to 300 000 subscribers on YouTube.
In the video, Gilberto is seen rocking a stylish orange two-piece attire whilst sporting his blonde-dyed hair. The player can also be viewed playing a character as the romantic interest of Angolan influencer and model Neide Sofia, who boasts more than 590 thousand follows on TikTok.
The music video has already reached the eyes and ears of more than 430 thousands YouTube users.
So clearly, the Bucs star doesn't lack in fame or personality and perhaps Pirates supporters will be excited to see what he does at the corner-flag once he starts scoring goals for them.
