PSL prosecutor Zola Majavu has confirmed that Chiefs have been charged after an angry mob of fans threw projectiles at head coach Molefi Ntseki, who was escorted down the tunnel by police.

The Soweto giants remain winless in the DStv Premiership after a 1-0 defeat to TS Galaxy on Sunday at the Mbombela Stadium, resulting in fans taking out their frustrations on Ntseki.

Amakhosi will now appear in front of the PSL Disciplinary Committee next week Tuesday, 29 August with Majavu levelling charges of misconduct against the club.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Official: Chiefs charged by PSL" story:

"Fans must keep throwing things onto the field so that the charge sheet can spread throughout a 2 quire notebook," says Legend CRM083.

"Were they charged for attacking Zwane last season?" says Zam d king buccaneer.

"You must charge Bobby Motaung for hiring a plumber as a coach. That is fraud of the highest quality," says Saavedra.

"Don't leave anyone, charge the ball boys as well," says Shikabala.

"Tough times for Chiefs, no more Abdul Bhamjee," says thabot.boshielo.

Amakhosi insist they will continue to back Molefi Ntseki despite the ex-Bafana coach only managing a solitary win since taking over from Arthur Zwane.

The club's communications manager Vina Maphosa revealed that Ntseki has taken Sunday's 'missile-throwing incident' in his stride and that the Soweto condemn violence at stadiums.

Maphosa urged fans to trust the process with the season still in its infancy and the transfer window still being open.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Chiefs stand firm - 'We can't turn our backs on Ntseki'" story:

"Then the fans must keep throwing things on the field and Chiefs will keep getting charged," says Legend CRM083.

"Vina is just being polite. Bobby would have told them exactly where to get off," says Shikabala.

"Stand firm and go to relegation, you can't hire a plumber and expect glory days," says Saavedra.

"They are still going to suffer and turn their backs on him. The earlier they sack him the better, otherwise they should forget about glory days," says peter95157.

"Lol these guys living I'm in oblivion, there's no glory days coming," says Sir_Zovic.
