It is difficult to determine the style of play that Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi wants his team to adopt, this according to the club's former bulldozing striker Thembinkosi Biyela.
Although Chiefs managed to secure all three points with a 2-1 victory against Richards Bay FC at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday, Biyela is not impressed and insists the team needs to establish its identity.

He believes the Chiefs badge deserves more than what the current team is delivering.
"The boys have not yet found their rhythm, but let's give the coach at least the first round to adjust," pleads Biyela, speaking to KickOff.com.
"His combinations... he doesn't yet know what he wants to do. He hasn't identified his winning team yet.
"However, I admire the courage they showed after going down to 10 men. They performed well under pressure and defended effectively. But to be honest, Chiefs are expected to beat a team like Richards Bay, regardless of the circumstances. Yes, they've won, but they are not converting their chances.
"The coach is not giving Ashley Du Preez enough opportunities. He needs to field a more consistent team. It's challenging for players to gel when they are constantly being changed. That's our biggest problem right now," says the man who turned out for their club under some of their glorious years under Paul Dolezar.
Biyela believes Du Preez, who netted the winner on Wednesday, is very important to this Kaizer Chiefs team and that the coach just needs to help him with his finishing.
"He gets chances but scores only one out of five when he should be scoring two or three.
"Unfortunately, that's a significant issue in South African football because we lack dedicated striker coaches as they have overseas. Here, a head coach is responsible for everything.

"They are winning, yes, but in terms of style of play, it's not yet clear what they are trying to achieve. When you watch Orlando Pirates or Mamelodi Sundowns, you can easily see what they want to do. For now, at Chiefs, there is no clarity. They lack identity.
"Chiefs is a big team, so they cannot solely rely on youngsters. You cannot have three development players in the starting line-up - that has never happened in Chiefs' history.
"A true Kaizer Chiefs team consists of players who have already established themselves, complemented by one or two youngsters. We need to rely on seasoned players, like Bongani Zungu, rather than depending heavily on young talents like Wandile Duba and Mduduzi Shabalala," he concludes.
Amakhosi's next challenge is Royal AM on Saturday at Peter Mokaba Stadium. Kick-off is at 17:45.
