SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt gives his thoughts on Pitso Mosimane and international opportunities.
Reports suggesting that Pitso Mosimane looks set to return to Saudi Arabia, have seemingly ruled him out of the running for a coaching role in South Africa.
Kaizer Chiefs have been strongly linked with the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly mentor, and while Chiefs are still in the market for a permanent head coach, incumbent Cavin Johnson is holding the fort on a caretaker basis.
Hunt has explained why he would have done the same, despite 'Jingles' being touted as an ideal candidate to take over at Amakhosi.

However, reports emerged just over a week ago that the South African legendary coach is believed to be close to his next move.
Saudi Arabian Pro League club Abha, who are hovering in the relegation zone, are understood to be keen on Mosimane.
However, four-time league-winning coach, Hunt, says the former Bafana Bafana coach has to stay in the Middle East to enhance his chances of coaching in 'first world leagues'.
"I would do the same, I wouldn't come (back home). It's not a money thing. I think it's about can he get into the world stage? If I was him I would stay where he is and try to get a job in Greece," Hunt said on This Is Football Africa Podcast.

"He speaks Greek, maybe Olimpiakos, Panathinaikos, you're going to the (UEFA) Champions League, the next minute, look at Ange (Postecoglou, Tottenham Hotspur manager), he was in the Australian league, now he's coaching Spurs, I mean come on, are you joking?
"Football coaches, you must never lose your nerve, you got to be on the front foot. Knowing Pitso, I think he's got an ambition of getting into the 'first world league'. No disrespect to where he is and where we are, first world league in terms of more publicity, bigger competitions," he added.
The Saudi Pro League is currently on recess due to the AFC Asian Cup and will resume in mid-February.
