Done Deal | Chiefs confirm new signing

Kaizer Chiefs have officially confirmed a new signing with the arrival of a former SuperSport United defender.

Defender Luke Fleurs has put pen-to-paper on a two-year deal with the Soweto giants, where he spent the last few weeks on trial.

"Kaizer Chiefs have fortified their defensive unit with the signing of Under-23 international, Luke Fleurs, on a two-year contract, with an option for a further season," the club announced on their website.

"The classy defender has been training with Amakhosi since leaving SuperSport United, and Chiefs were able to sign him outside the transfer window, as he was unattached.

The former SuperSport United central defender is looking forward to helping the Amakhosi improve their form in the DStv Premiership.

"I feel so pleased to sign because I always wanted to be part of the Glamour Boys," Fleurs said, as per the club's website.

"There is a great bond here; it has that family feel. I just wanted to get started on the job of winning silverware. This is the biggest Club and I want to help us win things."

"We have been training well and I am used to the set up.

"Results haven't been going our way lately but we will turn it around through hard work, because there is great talent here and we will get it right."
