'We don't stop when we're tired' - Khenyeza sings Arrows praisess

Golden Arrows head coach Mabhuti Khenyeza hailed the side's fighting spirit as they cemented second spot with victory over Kaizer Chiefs.

Arrows maintained their form as they beat Chiefs 2-1 and climbed up to second on the table courtesy of a brace by Mutizwa.

Khenyeza was not happy with the goal they conceded, a header by Sifiso Hlanti at the back post but credited their tactical discipline for their win over the Glamour Boys.

"I think we conceded the set-piece unnecessarily, we told them that the only way they would get to our final third is by the set-pieces, it was a foul which I think Themba is supposed to foul (Christian) Saile," Khenyeza told SuperSport TV.

"We mentioned again that they will go far post, no problem because at times I don't think whatever that you say (the players) get it right but going forward the guys are working very hard.

"Tactically as a team we always try to maintain our tactical discipline, without the ball, make sure that we drop in mid-block and force the opposition to go on the sides and also force them to play long balls, because we can deal with the long balls," he said.

The former Amakhosi striker continued and also praised their fighting spirit.

"They have a fighting spirit, even as coaches we add a little of the fight, we told them before the game that we need to fight all the way, we don't stop when we're tired, we stop when everything is finished," he went on.

"The last 20 minutes they kept on fighting, asking time from me but I told them you don't stop, we only stop when we're finished everything, don't allow, don't allow yourself when you're tired and you need to stop."
