"There are two teams in South Africa that are looking for my services, they are big teams. Right now they have started talking to my club," Chungu tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"They are negotiating for the transfer fee to buy me, so I'm just waiting for them. When they are finished then they will approach me to negotiate the salaries.

"I don't have any problem, the South African league and Zambian league have similarities, it's not a big deal.

"It won't be difficult for me to fit in that league. At times you can struggle but I'll do my best and hope something good can come out."

The 28-year-old went on to add that he holds affection for the current league leaders and Gavin Hunt's side, who also participated in the Confederation Cup this season.

"In South Africa, I like Kaizer Chiefs and Bidvest [Wits], those are the teams that I like. But no I can't confirm that those are the teams that are looking for me."

When pressed on what side he feels he would excel in: "All I can say is, that [Mamelodi] Sundowns and Chiefs are two teams that suit my style of play.

"But [making a transfer] all depends on my club if they accept any offers [at the end of the season]."

Chungu has amassed 11 caps for Chipolopolo since making his senior debut in 2011 under two-time Africa Cup of Nations-winning coach Herve Renard.
