In Group B, Algeria's JS Kabylie qualified ahead of Coton Sport from Cameroon, while Tunisia's CS Sfaxien and Senegal's ASC Jaraaf both progressed from Group C after playing out to a goalless draw in their final encounter.

Finally, North African giants Raja Casablanca of Morocco and Pyramids FC of Egypt will both take part in the quarter-finals after progressing from Group D, with the former being one of only two teams to progress without losing a match in the competition thus far.

The draw for the quarter-finals is set to take place on Friday, 30 April.
