Nascimento picked up a red card during their historic 2-1 CAF Champions League win over Congolese giants in Lubumbashi on Saturday.
However, the incident was missed by TV cameras during the coverage streamed via social media platforms.
According to one of the Sundowns officials who was in Lubumbashi, the Brazilian defender was sent for an early shower for dissent.
"Nascimento was red-carded during the match against TP Mazembe for dissent, the incident happened in the 77th-78th minute," the official confirms to snl24.com/kickoff.
Sundowns are set to host Mazembe at Loftus Stadium next week Tuesday.
