Maboe joins Mamelodi Sundowns traveling party

Midfielder Lebohang Maboe has been included in the travelling party for the trip to Egypt.

Sundowns departed for Egypt on Tuesday for their second group match encounter on February 19.

The Brazilians are then set to remain in Cairo for a further week to prepare for a clash against Egyptian giants, Al Ahly on February 25.

Maboe has been out of action for almost six months due to a knee injury.

The former Maritzburg United midfielder has reportedly made a full recovery and is expected to be in contention for a starting berth.

Kabo Yellow have recently been hit with a further injury blow with attacker Gaston Sirino being ruled out after suffering a broken nose.

Slovakian striker Pavol Safranko also remains a doubt for Saturday's clash after picking up a suspected hamstring injury on Monday.
