The latest 35-man squad selected for Bafana Bafana have been warned not to see their selection as a chance to rake in the cash.
Bafana head coach Hugo Broos named his preliminary squad for the home and away Africa Cup Of Nations qualifiers against Liberia.
"I think Broos selected players on merit, let's just give him the support in these two crucial games," former national team head coach Augusto Palacios tells KickOff.

"Let's just hope some of the players can display the same performances we see in the DStv Premiership.
"Sometimes you have a player who performs well in the PSL but not so well in the national team.
"These selected players must understand this is not about the money but about representing the country.
"Whoever is going to make the final cut, it's up to them, the coach is watching the PSL games together with Helman Mkhalele, so these players must not disappoint.
"National team is not there for people to make money, the national team is a platform for people to represent their country.
"It's an opportunity to earn a contract overseas.
"The coach selects according to what he observes.
"My message to the players who will make it to the final 23 is let's go and fight for the country.
"Go with the mind of making a name for your country and not go there with the mind of making more money.
"Let the money come after success, I mean the success of helping your country qualify for major tournaments."
