Concerned family members have confirmed that decorated former Bafana Bafana coach Clive Barker has been readmitted to the hospital on Thursday but is in stable condition.
Barker underwent major surgery late in 2022 after being diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia, which is causing cognitive and physical difficulties according to a statement released by the family.

However, the surgery later caused complications which have seen him re-admitted to the hospital.
"His condition is stable, but he remains in the Intensive Care Unit and is being closely monitored," the statement said.
"The family is grateful for the incredible care he is receiving from the medical team and would once again like to thank friends, colleagues and fans for their continued love, prayers and support."
Barker who is set to turn 79 years old in June this year remains the only coach to win the Africa Cup of Nations with Bafana and has coached many clubs in South Africa including AmaZulu, Bidvest Wits, Manning Rangers, and Santos.
