Tickets issued for highly-anticipated MTN8 final

The PSL has announced that a number of tickets will be allocated for the highly-anticipated MTN8 final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.

In an official announcement by the PSL on Tuesday, a number 0f 2 000 people will be allowed to attend Saturday's final between Mamelodi Sundowns and Cape Town City.

However, in a blow to supporters, no tickets will be made available for sale to the general public as the attendees will be made up of tickets issued to sponsors of the league as per contractual obligations.

Alongside MTN8 finalist member clubs' allocation and accredited personnel.

Previously, last month's World Cup qualifier between Bafana Bafana and Ethiopia was also attended by 2 000 spectators after a SAFA directive as a pilot project for the return of fans to stadiums.

Saturday's final will see favourites, Sundowns attempt to lift their first-ever MTN8 title against an in-from CT City.

Kick-off is at 18:00.
