Mamelodi Sundowns have secured the signings of promising midfielders Thulani Zandamela and Tumelo Molubi from Varsity Football champions the University of Johannesburg.
The teenage duo played influential roles in their 3-1 final triumph over the University of Free State earlier this month and caught the eyes of the DStv Premiership champions.

Zandamela in particular produced a masterclass display with a defence-splitting pass for the opening goal and a stunning goal on the brink of half-time after a one-two pass with Molubi which can be seen in the video below.
Both players have been registered with the club's affiliate club M-Tigers and the DStv Diski Challenge squad for the 2021/22 campaign with the aim to develop their careers further.
Their former teammate Tristan Nikitaridis who also scored in the final landed a professional contract with DStv Premiership outfit Baroka two weeks ago.
