Last weekend, Mosimane masterminded a resounding victory over reigning Egyptian Premier League champions Zamalek when he guided his side to an impressive 5-3 win at the Cairo Stadium.
Despite the result, the former Mamelodi Sundowns boss received criticism from some quarters, including former player Emad Meteb who lamented that Al Ahly conceded two unanswered goals in the final ten minutes of the match.
However, Mosimane has unsurprisingly received the full support of those in power at the club and was recently the recipient of a public vote of confidence from board member Tarek Kandil.
"I was amazed by what was being said, and I felt as if a hidden force wanted to ruin our celebrations," Kandil told ONTime Sport TV h/t KingFut.
"We beat Zamalek in the derby 5-3, and in about 25 minutes we scored three goals. We produced some impressive football.
