Brazilian superstar Neymar has made a bold claim that his former teammate Kylian Mbappé became jealous when Lionel Messi joined them at Paris Saint-Germain.
In August 2021, Messi signed for PSG as a free agent following an emotional departure from FC Barcelona.
For many, it was an exciting prospect to see the Argentine superstar play alongside Neymar and Mbappé, with their partnership viewed as the key to winning PSG's first-ever UEFA Champions League title.

However, despite the acclaimed trio playing together for two seasons, they failed to win the Champions League as the club had hoped.
Moreover, dressing room and training ground conflicts between the players began dominating headlines, as Mbappé was reportedly given more influence in the squad than his teammates.
This was believed to have unsettled some PSG players, Neymar in particular.
Speaking on Brazilian legend Romário's podcast, Neymar explained that egos got involved and Mbappé became a bit jealous when Messi arrived in the team.
"We had a bit of a fallout with Kylian Mbappé," Neymar said.
"At first, when he joined, he was amazing. I used to call him Golden Boy and always told him he'd be one of the best in the world, and that I'd help him along the way.
"He would come over to my place, and we'd eat together often. We had some really good years.
"But when Lionel Messi arrived at PSG, Kylian started feeling jealous. He didn't want to share anymore.
"That's when the disagreements began. Everything changed from there. What went wrong at PSG? It was the ego."
