FIFA The Best Awards: Mens and Women's Player, Coach, Goalkeeper and Puskas nominees revealed

The FIFA Best Men's award nominees have been confirmed with Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi making the list, while the finalists for the Coach of the Year, Goalkeeper of the Year and Puskas award have also been revealed.

Virgil van Dijk will contest with five-time Ballon d'Or winners Messi and Ronaldo at The Best FIFA Awards this month.

The superstar trio have been named as the final three for the Men's Player of the Year, after a 10-man shortlist including Harry Kane, Eden Hazard, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah was cut down on Monday.   The towering Dutch defender was named the UEFA Men's Player of the Year last week and is once again favourite for the FIFA honour that was lifted by Luka Modric in 2018.   Coach of the Year   In the coaching department, a Premier League manager will definitely be walking away with the prestigious honour after Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp, Manchester City's Pep Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino of Tottenham were rewarded with nominations.   Guardiola's Citizens won the Premier League with a record points total last season, while Pochettino and Klopp were finalists in the UEFA Champions League - which the German going on to win the title with the Reds.

Goalkeeper of the Year

Brazil international goalkeepers Alisson Becker and Ederson Moraes who represent Liverpool and City respectively are up for the goalkeeping honour - along with FC Barcelona and Germany stopper Marc Andre ter Stegen.   There's also been a section for the Fan of the Year which can be seen below.

The award, based on what players achieved between July 16 2018 and July 19 2019, will be announced in Milan on September 23.
