FIFA has been urged to take action against the mass killing of dogs in Morocco, with reports suggesting that 3 million stray dogs are set to be massacred.
A prominent animal rights advocate has written to FIFA, calling on the organisation to intervene in the widespread killing of stray dogs.

Morocco is not only set to host the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations but will also co-host the 2030 FIFA World Cup alongside Spain and Portugal.
Jane Goodall, the animal rights activist in question, has appealed to FIFA, highlighting that animals are being subjected to harsh "clean-up" measures in an effort to make Moroccan cities more presentable for visiting football supporters.
A report by the Daily Mail last year claimed that thousands of dogs have already been killed as a result.
According to Times Now News, Goodall wrote: "I am equally appalled to learn from the IAWPC - International Animal Coalition that you have been presented with detailed dossiers documenting these horrific acts, most of which are conducted in the most brutal and cruel fashion imaginable, and yet appear to have ignored them.
"You must surely be aware of how football fans around the world – many of whom are also animal lovers – will react when they learn of this?"
Campaigners against the killings are reportedly concerned that the eradication of stray dogs could escalate further. The International Animal Coalition has launched a campaign to expose what it calls "Morocco's ugly secret."
The campaign seeks to reveal the brutal methods allegedly used to kill stray dogs.
