Sekhukhune make coaching change ahead of Downs clash

Sekhukhune United have confirmed a surprise change in their coaching department ahead of the weekend's Nedbank Cup action.

The club announced on Thursday evening that head coach  Lehlohonolo Seema with immediate effect.

Seema was on the bench during Wednesday's loss to Richards Bay FC, while he also represented Sekhukhune at the Nedbank Cup presser on Thursday.

"Sekhukhune United Football Club announce the departure of Head Coach Lehlohonolo Seema, with immediate effect," the club announced in a statement.

"In light of this development, coaches Kaitano Tembo and Paulus Masehe will take on the responsibility of leading the team forward.

"The club thanks Coach Seema for his dedication and contribution during his time with us."

Seema has left Sekhukhune in fourth position on the Betway Premiership table with 10 matches to play.
