KickOff has been informed about the latest developments on the signing of the former Mamelodi Sundowns duo of Thamsanqa Sangweni and Lucky Mohomi at Marumo Gallants.
The pair have been training with the club for over two weeks now after arriving from the first division where they spent the first half of the season.
Sangweni was with TS Sporting while Mohomi had a difficult stay at Venda Football Academy.
"We are hoping to have all of this finalized within the next day or two," says Marumo official Rufus Matsena.

"It is all work in progress for now and a decision will be taken either tomorrow or the day after with regards to whether they remain with the team or get released.
"For now, the extensive assessment continues because you must be sure about what you sign to avoid making the mistake of bringing players that you will then not need immediately afterwards," says Matsena.
Sangweni is vastly experienced having played for Sundowns, Orlando Pirates, AmaZulu, Chippa United, Ajax Cape Town, Maritzburg United, and Richards Bay.
Mohomi has battled at Sundowns and SuperSport United and had his best times at Free State Stars.
Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs youth development graduate Itumeleng Shopane is no longer training with the club.
