They now need to beat Jomo Cosmos in Duduza on Tuesday (6 May) to join the likes of Midlands Wanderers, The Bees, and African Warriors in the division's national play-offs to produce two teams to go to the Motsepe Foundation Championship next season.
Speculation, though, is that three teams will go up to fill the spot left vacant by the Royal AM situation, after the KZN outfit were expelled as a member of the NSL.
Wanderers booked their place in the play-offs after beating Mkhambathi FC 1-0, whilst African Warriors defeated Mangaung City by the same scoreline for the chance to represent Free State in the tournament.
The Bees beat Middelburg United 2-0 a fortnight ago to secure themselves a ticket to the drawcard event.
Meanwhile, Cosmos are swimming in desperation as they need to win their last two league games to survive relegation in the third tier.
They currently sit 14th on the log.
