Liverpool coach Arne Slot has confirmed a major blow ahead of Sunday's Carabao Cup final against Newcastle United.
The Reds will go in search of their first trophy of the season just days after they were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League by Paris Saint-Germain on penalties.

During the second leg on Tuesday, the Reds lost the services of full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold in the second half to an injury.
It has now been confirmed that Alexander-Arnold will play no part in the final at Wembley Stadium.
"Trent is indeed not available," Slot told reporters, as per Goal.
"He will not be there at the final. But he's still to be assessed for how long it's going to take.
"We do expect him back before the end of the season."
With Conor Bradley also missing through injury, Slot could be expected to start young Jarell Quansah at right-back in the final.
