Pitso lands new coaching job

Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane has found a new club.

The 59-year-old has signed with Saudi Pro League side Abha Football Club, according to  agent and wife Moira Tlhagale.

Mosimane was a free agent after parting ways with UAE side Al Whada in October.

"I can confirm to you that coach Pitso has officially signed with Saudi Arabia club Abha FC on Thursday," Tlhagale told Sunday World.

"Coach Pitso will be returning to the gulf and has signed a four-month contract with the team until the end of the season.

"His mandate is clear and that is to ensure that Abha survives relegation and plays in the Pro League again next season."

Mosimane will take over at Abhda with the club sitting in 17th position on the Saudi Pro League table, five points adrift of safety.
