With Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos said to have handed in a transfer request in the wake of interest from a team in the Chinese Super League, reports indicate that the Los Blancos skipper could earn more than Cristiano Ronaldo should he move to the Far East.
Ramos, 33, reportedly had a meeting with club president Florentino Perez recently, and is believed to have revealed his desire to bring an end to his glittering 14-year stay with the Spanish giants, in the wake of a staggering offer from an unnamed club in China, as per Marca.
Perez, however, subsequently informed members of the media that he is against the Spain international leaving the Santiago Bernabeu outfit without the club receiving a transfer fee, suggesting that Real will follow a similar approach to the stance they took with Ronaldo before he left for Juventus.

While many people may question Ramos' reported desire to leave the 13-time UEFA Champion League winners considering that he is still relatively in the prime of his career, the reported figures of the massive deal he has been offered could be too good to turn down.
As per El Pais, the highest-scoring active defender has been offered a mouthwatering annual salary of €35 million (R577 million) a season after tax, which calculates to approximately €100 000 (R1.65 million) per day.
Should the Spain international accept the offer, he would earn more than Ronaldo does as the Juventus superstar reportedly earns €31 million (R511 million) a year in Turin.
Ramos would earn in excess of €100 million (R1.65 billion) in three years in China, while at Real, he would be earning €40 million (R659 million) during the same period.
