FC Barcelona have confirmed that Miralem Pjanic has joined Besiktas on loan for the 2021/22 season, just one year after they bought him for a reported €60 million (R1 billion).
Barca have made a big effort to offload players in an effort to free up their troublesome wage bill as much as possible, and Pjanic is the latest player to make an exit, albeit on a loan deal.

Besiktas also do not have an option to make the player's move permanent, so Pjanic will return to the Camp Nou at the end of the 2021/22 campaign.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina midfielder made 30 appearances for the Catalan giants last season, and just 19 in LaLiga.
