FC Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez says Pedri and Gavi are better than he and Andreas Iniesta were when they were 20-years-old.
Pedri and Gavi have been enjoying an impressive rise in Spanish football, with both players having won the Golden Boy award in the last two years.
The pair are not only starters at Barcelona, but they also started for the Spanish national side at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Xavi claims he was not at the same level as Gavi and Pedri when he was 20-year-old at the Camp Nou.
"We have very young players. Eric [Garcia], Pedri, Ansu [Fati], Gavi... Frenkie [de Jong] is young... we have Barca for the present and for the future," Xavi told Mundo Deportivo.
"Me at 20 years old and Andres at 20 years old were not at the level of Pedri or Gavi. Eric Garcia, at 20; Ansu himself... How Gavi competes, the passion he puts in... We were not at his level."
The Catalan giants tactician has also warned that the younger footballers are playing too much football.
"Gavi has played practically everything. Ansu is a talent... Perhaps we are asking them too much," Xavi added.
