Unai Emery's side lost 3-1 in the first-leg last week after Sokratis Papastathopoulos was sent off in the opening half in France.

However, the exploits of the former Borrusia Dortmund attacker sensational overturned the tie and his celebration caught the eye of many as he pulled a mask from the Marvel film Black Panther over his face before picking up a yellow card for the celebration.

Asked about the motive behind it, Aubameyang told BT Sport: "I needed something, a mask to represent me and the Black Panther represents me.

"In Gabon, we call the national team the Panthers so that's why I wore it."

Aubameyang has impressed this season with 22 goals and six assists in 39 outings for the London based outfit.
