Arsenal's second signing ahead of the 2024/25 season has now officially been confirmed.
The Gunners have announced the acquisition of Italy international Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna on a five-year deal.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the player will earn €4 million (about R80 million) per season, and the move comes after he impressed in Serie A last term, helping Bologna to their first-ever qualification for the UEFA Champions League group stage.
Calafiori is now Arsenal's second official signing of the window after the club confirmed the permanent transfer of David Raya from Brentford earlier this month
His medical is understood to have been completed in the United States, where Arsenal are conducting their pre-season tour.
