Mikel Arteta is reportedly planning to sell as many as seven Arsenal players in the next transfer window in order to raise money for new signings.
The Spanish manager continued his overhaul of the Gunners by allowing six first-teamers to leave in January.
The players who left the Emirates over the past month were Folarin Balogun, Pablo Mari and Ainsley Maitland-Niles, who departed on loan deals, while free transfers were arranged for Calum Chambers, Sead Kolasinac and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who was officially announced as an FC Barcelona player on Wednesday.

This mass exodus has left many surprised as Arteta is left with only 18 first-team players for the remaining 17 Premier League matches of the season, according to Daily Express.
The latest from The Sun suggests that the squad trimming could continue, with the London club set to part ways with another seven players in the next transfer window as they look to raise £70 million (R1.4 billion) through sales.

Maitland-Niles is said to be one of the squad members who could be moved on permanently when he returns from his six-month loan spell with AS Roma, while Matteo Guendouzi is also likely to be sold after his reported rift with Arteta.
Lucas Torreira is also expected to be on the chopping block, with Serie A side Fiorentina likely to lead the race for his signature after they secured a buy option in their season-long loan deal for the Uruguayan.
Hector Bellerin could also be shown the door, with Estadio Deportivo recently reporting that the fullback is happy in Spain with Real Betis and does not miss England.
