Wydad Athletic Club's new big-name signing has now made a vow to manager Rulani Mokwena and the team.
Earlier this month, Wydad announced the blockbuster signing of former AC Milan star M'Baye Niang on a short-term deal.

The striker arrived on a free transfer after parting ways with Serie A side Empoli, joining a long list of new arrivals at the Moroccan giants, including Cassius Mailula, who joined on loan from Toronto FC.
Niang penned a one-year deal until June 2025, including an option to extend for another year, with Wydad, and he has since vowed to perform under his new South African coach, who also joined the club this season.
Speaking to Canal+ Sport Afrique, the 29-year-old marksman said: "It's up to me to perform. I know that the coach [Rulani Mokwena], as he repeated several times in press conferences, is counting on me.
"It's up to me to work, I'm going to work hard. I'm going to help my teammates, the club especially.
"I didn't come with the aim of doing a year and leaving. I really want to be part of the club's project, which is strong.
"There is a new management that has shown that it is ready to invest, to also make this club, with the history it has, take its place again.
"It is a legendary club in Africa, which has won trophies, which has an exceptional public."
Although he was born and grew up in France, Niang represents Senegal at senior international level, but has not played for the Lions of Teranga since November 2019.
Speaking on his desire to return to the national team fold, Niang added: "Then the selection, I will be at the disposal of the coach [Aliou Cisse] as I did before. I played in the World Cup [in 2018], which is not given to everyone, the African Cup.
"Even if, today, I am not in the national team, I am Senegalese and I am proud to be."
