Former Maritzburg United striker Tyroane Sandows is currently training with the Dube Birds in the hope of landing a contract with the ambitious club.
The 26-year-old from Johannesburg was let go by the Team Of Choice in January having only come on as a substitute twice in all competitions.
Swallows coach Truter confirms to snl24.com/kickoff that Sandows, who formed part of South Africa's Olympic squad in 2016, is with the Dobsonville side.
"On Sandows, he still training. No decision has been taken," says Truter via text message.
Other teams the talented youngster has turned out for include Brazilian clubs Sao Paolo under-17, Gremio under-20 and Gremio B, Figuerense FC and Ponte Preta.
