Khanye was supposed to released his book last year but failed to realise that dream after falling out with author Sizwe Sithole due to empty promises.
The former Platinum Stars midfielder has now appointed Nikolaos Kirkinis to pen down his journey both on and off the field during his peak time as a football star.
Kirkins is the author of former Bafana Bafana midfielder Teko Modise's book entitled 'The curse of Teko Modise' which was published in the country a few years ago.
He has confirmed that he is now busy writing Khanye's book and it could be out by July this year.
"It's going to be a very exciting book. Lots of crazy stories behind the scenes and in the changing rooms, a lot of drinking parties and the players and coaches he worked with," Kirkins reveals to snl24.com/kickoff.
"Looking at what Junior Khanye has gone through in life, it's a heartbreaking story but also an inspiring story. It should be done by July, but the exact date will be determined by issues of editing and publishers."
Khanye now also doubles up on his job as a soccer analyst on Diski TV with an acting role on Vula Vula on Mzansi Magic.
