Moeketsi Sekola talks up Chippa strike partners Katlego Mashego, Lerato Manzini, Rhulani Manzini

The Chilli Boys also have veteran hitman Katlego Mashego, Lerato Manzini and Rhulani Manzini in their arsenal.

Sekola has revealed that Mashego in particular has helped him settle in Port Elizabeth.

“He has been encouraging from day one,” Sekola told Chippa's website.

“He kept talking to me even against Orlando Pirates [1-0 loss at Orlando Pirates]. His experience will be vital for the team this season.

“We have lot of quality in the team and the competition for places is fierce. Starting from defense to attacking line there are two/three players for each position.

“I believe with 'Mahoota' [Mashego], 'Zlatan' [Lerato], Rhulani Manzini and myself, Chippa United has the most potent strike force in the Premiership.”

Sekola, an off-season loan signing from Highlands Park, scored United's first goal of the season in a 2-0 home win over AmaZulu on Tuesday.

“It’s been long coming,” said the ex-Free State Stars hitman.

“I had couple of chances at Orlando and even though we lost I felt confident and I knew that I will score against AmaZulu.

“This is a team that creates lot of chances and I know if I continue to keep my feet on the ground and work hard, goals are going to come,” concluded the 2014/2015 Golden Boot winner with 14 strikes.
