Kaizer Chiefs' pre-season friendly defeat to Township Rollers in pictures

Kaizer Chiefs' recent visit to Botswana saw them suffer a defeat in a pre-season friendly against Township Rollers.

Chiefs suffered a 2-1 defeat to Rollers in their penultimate pre-season friendly on Saturday - just two weeks before their start of the 2019/20 season.

Ernst Middendorp fielded three of the club's new signings in Kearyn Baccus, Samir Nurkovic and Lazarous Kambole but were unable to get the better of their opponents.

Following Bernard Parker's opening goal inside the opening two minutes of the match, Rollers managed to contain Amakhosi before putting two goals past their defensive line in the 26th and 68th minute.

Colombian striker Leonardo Castro, who is rumoured to be on his way out of the club, was also part of the action and made an appearance off the bench in the second half, but was unable to spare his side's blushes.
