United earlier this week announced the return of former head coach Vladislav Heric as technical adviser in the club's bid to escape the dreaded relegation axe.
Heric has replaced Eymael, who lasted only two days in the job before public pressure, owing to allegations of racism in Tanzania where The Belgian tactician worked for Young Africans, resulted in club boss Siviwe Mpengesi rescinding his appointment.
The Chilli Boys currently occupy 15th position on the DStv Premiership log table, having accumulated just 17 points from 23 matches played thus far.
This has prompted the decision to recall reserve team coach Mbuyiselo Sambu, who previously served as assistant coach to the likes of Dan Malesela, Teboho Moloi, Heric, Clinton Larsen, Norman Mapeza, Rhulani Mokwena and Lehlohonolo Seema among others.
