Mamelodi Sundowns striker Abubeker Nasir Ahmed has told that he now needs to be careful about how long he will test the patience of decision makers at Mamelodi Sundowns.
Nasir only managed to gather 14 appearances in his first season (2022/23) at Sundowns scoring four goals.

The major concern was that he played a single full shift of 90 minutes and went on to miss 34 games in all competitions for The Brazilians.
Into the new season, the Ethiopian is yet to play due to injury issues which has also contributed to him not being called up the Ethiopian national team which has two World Cup qualifiers against Sierra Leone and Burkina Faso coming up.
"How many games has the boy missed since he arrived at Sundowns," questions Fikru Tefera, the best Ethiopian to ever play in South Africa.
Sundowns have so far played 20 games in all competitions this season which means Nasir has missed 54 matches since he joined in July 2022.
"How long will the club be patient with him?
"This is a question that will start being asked him because he is taking away a foreign spot and the club's priorities is having players ready all the time.
"Even if the coaches like him, it is an issue when he is not playing.
"Maybe the coaches are already looking for other players, don't rule out that possibility.

"With the January transfer window coming up Sundowns could be tempted to consider their options as a competitive a club.
"Sundowns need players who are available to play.
"I have always been singing the same song about that the boy needs to go the extra mile in taking care of his fitness for him to compete at Sundowns. "We all know that he is a good player with a good personality, but he needs to be playing for him to stay relevant at Sundowns.
"Whenever he is injured, he is opening opportunities for other players and soon he will be forgotten and then be not needed.
"I have always stressed that the boy needs to use all the facilities available for him at Chloorkop to strengthen up his body because he has access to a gym.

"If Ronaldo is still putting the extra work at his age why wouldn't a younger player like Abu do that?
"This is not even the time for him to be even seen at malls because he must be putting in the work behind the scenes.
"My advice is coming from a good place because I want the best for the player just like all the people here in Ethiopia who need him in the national team.
"The boy hasn't been in the national for over a year now," says Tefera.
